Ok, I know it’s a blurry photo, but I was trying to be low-key about taking it instead of acting like a hyperactive puppy spotting a squirrel. This is what it looks like when your book is featured at your local library in preparation for an upcoming author event. Just one of those things I was never sure I’d achieve.
Fun! ^_^
Yes!
Wonderful news. Have fun at your event!!!
Thank you.
Most excellent! π
Thank, Marc. Hope you’re doing well.
Oh yay! That’s totally awesome! π
It was a rush. I stopped by to pick up a book and thought I’d check to see if it was on the shelves yet, and there it was in a lobby display.
Wow, you’re pretty self-reserved. I’d be running through the bookstore going ‘that’s my book! That’s mine!’ Well, that’s if Adelaide had any bookstores left, of course…
It’s a library, not a bookstore. Hence the reserve. Inside I was excited though! π
Fabulous!
Yes, I think so.
I’m so happy for you——that is a wonderful accomplishment—You have every right to be very proud!
Thanks, Florence.
Good idea taking a pic. Congrats and good luck on your author event! I found it fun to go back to the library a couple of years later and find my novel all dog-eared and well read.
Ooh, what a good idea. π
Ruth congratulations! When I first looked for my book in the local libray, it was always checked out. Then when I finally saw it, this little silly part of me wanted to check it out, but I didn’t. Went back a few days later to do it–and it was checked out. Yay
Lucie, that must be an amazing feeling. In fact, your comment caused me to check my library’s online catalog and one of the two books is checke out. π
