Twitter Me

I finally joined the Twitterverse on Sunday. I guess I did it a little too enthusiastically because when I woke up Monday morning, my account had been suspended. However, I appealed right away, and by early afternoon, it was up and running again.

So if you’re on Twitter too, you can follow me @RHChatlien. Hope to see you there.

  1. Suspended, Why? I don’t yet have a twitter account. Everyone says I should. just seems like a lot of spam to me. I just don’t get it. perhaps I should.

    • Twitter doesn’t like it if you “follow” way more people than follow you. You know some people “follow” your blog as a way to promote their stuff and then you never hear from them again. It’s the same on Twitter. So I guess I followed too many people my first day, and it freaked out their computer. The advantage of being on Twitter (as I understand it) is that it’s much easier for people to pass on your comments, so your network can grow quickly.

      • I may give it a try yet. I just seem so overwhelmed by all of the other promo…the FB groups, the FB, the blog, the advertisers. I was just declined by BookBub for the third time, but the Ereader News Today did well. Go figure. Finding time to truly dedicate myself to writing in my WIPs gets to be a challenge.

      • I hear you on the difficulty of finding time for the WIP! Sorry to hear the news about BookBub. That stinks.

  2. I didn’t get it at first. It took me a year to use it, but I’m on it all the time now. 🙂
