These are more of the research photos I took last summer. I’m not sure I’m actually going to need these in my next novel, but it was too fascinating not to photograph.

Seeing the steps of the process laid out like that (the yarn, the spinning wheel, etc.) is really very fascinating, and visually appealing. Even if you don’t actually use it, it’ll still be a thematic you’ll have in mind, perhaps, to help set the place and mood for yourself.
Yes, I believe that things like this are never wasted. Perhaps it will show up in a poem someday.
